Anything I could write an article/tutorial about?

i am in the US, thanks for your response though.

Just to say I didn’t forget about this. I had a spare moment today and just finished my first article.

http://tomkelsey.co.uk/reining-in-the-reactivity-with-meteor/

It covers creating a list of reactive items that is statically sorted/ordered.

I’ve got a queued list of about 20 article titles that I hope to complete within the next couple of weeks, fingers crossed!

Good choice of topic for that article :).

I’m still new enough to Meteor to not have had that issue yet myself (I.e. lists resorting reactively and causing UX issues), but was aware of it and had seen the issue on other Meteor-built sites. Reactivity obviously adds a lot to the capabilities of web applications, but introduces new UX issues (pagination, your scrolling footer issue, etc). Given how relatively new it still is, it’ll likely take some time before UX best practices for these newer challenges become well defined and commonly known. I’d say any articles on the UX challenges you encountered and how you dealt with them will help further that discussion along.

Looking forward to seeing an article on what approach you land on for the scrolling footer
