Does anyone know of a completely free way to host a meteor app remotely?
Meteor previously recommend using a mixture of Heroku and mLab (formerly MongoLab). You can host your application on Heroku and your database on mLab. These are free forever.
Alternatively I suggest, if you’re a student, get a GitHub Student Pack that allows you to have $50 Digital Ocean credit that allows you to host for 10 months. And a Bitnami account that allows you to host for 1 full year. Combining the both gives you a solid 22 months of hosting entirely free.
