In the wind of 1.3, there has been no update. But I think/hope this will be tackled next, along the start to separate meteor core packages into individual npm-centered repos.
Great support it seems… I’m also having no luck in getting a meteor app installed.
Good concept, bad realisation it seems
So… do we have a time line for node LTS version yet?
Meteor 1.4 is right around the corner and will run on Node v4.x LTS it seems. Meteor 1.3.3 is currently shipping as first beta release and Meteor 1.4 will follow as soon as 1.3.3 is stable and released. It looks like the first 1.4 beta build might be going out in a few (2?) weeks and 1.4 final 2 weeks later or so, judging by the speed of things in the past?
EDIT: Also, if you’d like to help get 1.4 with Node v4 out the door, you can jump in and build the release-1.4 branch of Meteor right now and start using it and report any issues you find.
Thanks,
Glad to hear that.
Will see what I could do when the project schedule is not so crazy!!!
