I also write my packages in CS - after using both JS and CS professionally, writing JS is by comparison slower, harder to read and just less fun. I probably wouldn’t have made Meteor Animate if I had to write it in JS simply because I’d lack the motivation to. CS is not just a language decision, it affects motivation and drive. I wrote a tutorial with a gentle learning curve into CS if anyone wants to get their feet wet.
