What factors are slowing down Meteor adoption?

Personally I prefer html, css and js over Objective-C. But cordova is slow, eats memory and dry battery. The only motivation for cordova is an illusion to save some money. But it is ok to prototype with.

MDG got excited about being given lots of cash then decided to go play fusball to celebrate instead of thrashing out a solid commercial plan, plus they are being highly influenced by other js frameworks and chasing them rather than taking to best of JS and making it native to Meteor. If I were part of MDG, I would be approaching Rob Eisenberg and suggesting they pool resources/brains and start building a proper company.

That’s a stupid thing to say.

I don’t see anything wrong with that. Why exist in bubble where you’re not borrowing ideas from other people and using them to improve your own product? Incorporating npm was one of the best moves they’ve made. Not to mention, leveraging React as well.
