Academically speaking, I got my MSc in Advanced Software Engineering couple of months back and specialise in domains of soft-computing and text-mining. My development goes back to the 8-bit days when we played about with assembly. Y2K familiarised me with a new world starting with Java then JS / PHP then C#. Then fell in love with JQuery and Ajax for a couple of years. Moved into the realm of ASP.NET MVC and abandoned PHP. Was then overwhelmed by the world of JS frameworks as of the last 2 years. Learnt KnockoutJS , Angular and some Ember.... only to realise that none of them motivated me enough to use them for production.

Thing is ... modularity and separation of concerns is key to good development practices and frameworks like Angular stretch that mindset too far by imposing on you how one ought to work. It does make things maintainable but sometimes it also makes things counter-productive.

With the introduction of "Angular 2" I confirmed this even further. So here i am now...I hope to create some useful Meteor packages for the community. I am particularly interested in the front-end realtime aspect of apps but as of now, I'm still fairly new.

I am currently working on some innovative ideas but for the time being will keep these secret
