Any package that handle better form collecting?

i used to get form data with form2js

but form2js doesn’t work well with

multiple checkbox
checkbox, radio

maybe jquery serialize with dot-object ??

You might want to have a look at aldeed:autoform I do not know where it stands now, but a while back it was awesome and it certainly still is.
