This is great but it’s pathetic that this is necessary. Galaxy was announced 4 years ago, by now we should have configurable auto-scaling or at least an API for monitoring resources and spinning up new containers ourselves.

Looks like a nice tool! I think I saw something like this announced a while back as well? I would definitely use it once the performance of galaxy became competitive enough to justify running many containers on it.

Regarding Galaxy:

  • 2-factor auth it’s also important.
  • GCP support would be a plus.
