This makes it similar to the BitBucket pricing model, although considerably more pricey.
For independent devs the new model ($7 a month, unlimited private repos) is a fairly attractive deal.

Oh no! As soon as I saw this I quickly tried to grab a copy of the Atmosphere source … I was too late!!!

I am curious why GitHub didn’t just copy BitBucket’s pricing exactly. If they did that, everyone would switch to GitHub. Alas, my company will still use BitBucket for the time being.
