Call function from one component to another

hello,

i am using angular 6.
I have two buttons. i have created two buttons in one component 1.if i press first buttons it needs to call the first function in component 2.if i press second button it needs to call the second function in component 2.how to do this. please help me.

i was calling the database data by using ipc call.how to call more than two files by using ipccall.
