Can't upgrade to 1.4.2. Please Help! (SOLVED)

I still can’t update to the newest meteor version. It seems the meteor version is set to 1.4.2.3 but installing the packages failed.

I did

npm install --global --production windows-build-tools
npm install -g node-gyp
npm config set msvs_version 2015

and gyp seems to work correctly on my other non meteor projects. I stuck at this point since the release of 1.4.2. Please give me an idea how to fix this.

This project is already at Meteor 1.4.2.3, the latest release.

fsevents is an NPM designed only for OS X. Currently, your installation thinks that it should install it for some reason – most likely because it’s improperly contained within a package that your project is depending on. The most common culprit of this lately was momentjs:moment@2.15.2. (See this issue for more information). Essentially, if the devDependencies of an OS X user were included in their Atmosphere package when they published it, you won’t be able to get it to work on any non-OSX machine (Linux included!)

I’d recommend running meteor npm ls in order to try and determine where the dependency on fsevents is coming from.

(It was the angular authentication modul so I need to do some refactoring on my app)

It does appear that it’s accidentally bundled into angular-meteor-auth. I’ve opened the following issue to hopefully fix that. Shouldn’t be too difficult of a fix, but would require a version bump.
