Hi, everyone. I’ve recently deployed a new app here: Chatter. It is a chat app with multiple room features. To go into a room, the creator of the room needs to allow you. Please try it out and give feedback about it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Room management seems to be working, but when I post a message it doesn’t appear in the messages list.
Thanks for you reply. The messages does not appear because the publishing function is not working properly. I’m not sure why, but you have to sign out and then sign in again to view it for every room you have created. Afterwards, it works correctly for that room. I’m working on it now.
Seems to be working now thanks. Would love to see this open sourced.

may i know how was the chat messaging handled? was it stored in database? thanks
The chat messages are stored in a database called Messages. You can view the Messages using Messages.find().fetch(). However, not all messages are shown, only those which you have sent or have been sent in a room which you participate.
