Creating organization and transferring ownership of packages

Two things:

  1. I want to create an organization, but the organization name appears to be taken. I can’t find where it was taken and can’t find the organization to begin with. Is there any way to find out about the organization with that name? I find it a bit hard to believe that it’s taken.

  2. If I publish a package under my plain user, can I transfer ownership later?

  1. I would reach out to contact@meteor.com with the name of the organization and what you are planning to use it for, maybe we can find out more about it.
  2. Currently there is no way to transfer ownership, it would basically be like publishing a new package, and then you can tell users of the previous one to switch over.
