Decision Process of how SErvices are chosen for Accounts Core

Meteor Accounts currently has the following non-password services:

  • Facebook
  • GitHub
  • Google
  • Meetup
  • Twitter
  • Weibo

How was it decided that these should be included in the core?
If a new accounts-x service is created, what’s the process to decide if it should go in the core?

Aren’t they the obvious ones?

Facebook, Twitter = biggest social media sites in the west
Google = biggest service provider
Github = MDG uses it
Meetup = MDG uses it
Weibo = biggest social media site in asia

Do we need more account-packages in core? Isn’t community packages great?
