Another Chrome update, another broken extension. Google are on
So you might want to delay your update to Chrome 144 if you use this extension. I’ve glanced at the release notes but nothing jumps out at me.
I’m not sure if this is still maintained by @leonardoventurini or if he moved on? It would be really good to get this as part of the core or at the very least into the community. It’s a really vital tool.
Anyone had the same experience and have any idea what it might be?
I’m stopping to use meteor-devtools-evolve from some months, on firefox, since it start to eat all the ram.
I think is a very useful tool to check minimongo and unfortunately is not usable.
@davideonmeteor I might have some free time in a few weeks to look into this, could you provide as much detail as you can on the issue? Does it happen on any app or only on yours? Is it public? Thanks!
@marklynch happy it still works! Yeah I’m working mostly with Elixir and React now, so it’s a completely different context, if the issue comes back, just let me know and I might be able to look into it. You have my email as I don’t look the forums as much.
@nachocodoner@fredmaiaarantes@zodern I think we discussed about a collab on the devtools a few years back just let me know and I can handle the publishing. Or if you want to adopt the project, feel free too, I believe it could have business benefits for Meteor/Galaxy or Monti.
I have great memories from Meteor and I built it hoping to help it thrive, anything can be arranged. Just me.
I’m on Debian, both Firefox Dev Edition and Firefox, when I tried, several weeks ago, this extension took my memory usage
to hightest.
When I saw your message I reactivated the extension and I’m trying it, I waited a bit to reply because I wanted to check carefully but it seems that now it doesn’t give that problem anymore.
Maybe a browser release related issue ?
Anyway, now I keep the extension enable and I get you a feedback by some days.
Thank you !
