Estimating Galaxy container size

Is there a ballpark way to estimate the container size required for a given app? We are testing on a Galaxy Standard container with APM and monitoring but we are looking to determine a “cost per user” which is proving really difficult.

I’ve seen some older posts that suggest about 400 connections per container.

Is load testing the only way to figure this out?
