Hello everyone, it’s with a heavy heart that I inform my departure from the core team. I know it’s abrupt and it has been my decision due to personal matters. I leave the core team leadership in the capable hands of Gabriel Grubba (@grubba).
I am very grateful to the entire Meteor team for believing in me and working together to get Meteor 3 released, maintained, and promoted. You guys have done and continue to do a wonderful job and I am humbled to have learned and grown so much with you in the time I’ve been here.
A big thank you to everyone who has worked with me during my time on the core team and the years leading up to it, including all those who contributed to the migration effort and getting Meteor 3 ready for release.
I’ll be cheering from the sidelines as Meteor 3 continues its journey. The framework is well-positioned for success with its modern architecture and a passionate team behind it.
I believe what makes a tech community is more the people in it than the tech. With that said, I believe the Meteor community is not only still alive but is entering a new era of growth and innovation.
I really liked how you led the Meteor.js team. You definitely added value to us. I hope you had a good time working with us, and I hope to see you around!
I want to congratulate you on your birthday, celebrating the person and professional you’ve become over the years.
I also want to acknowledge your great work at Meteor over the past months. In your short time here, you made a real impact on the OSS team and community by improving communication, encouraging collaboration, and solving technical challenges.
I’ll truly miss you. You have my full support in whatever comes next!
