My preferred way to read these forums is to search by “group:MDG” so I can find any posts by MDG people. It would nice to be able to get a digest of these sent to me by email so I don’t have to visit the forum unless I find a post of interest.
We have a pretty high up feature req to allow you to “follow” users.
I feel this kind of feature would fit in there, conceptually you are asking for a way to “watch a group” and be notified when the group posts in some way.
Watch user/group/search is a bit of a power user feature, I think we will get to it eventually, but it is not in the immediate roadmap.
