Flow-Router Extra Docs [Looking for Community Feedback]

#1

Recently we have published the new release of flow-router-extra package.
Since then it’s getting crowded there, GitHub reports traffic increase. I’m glad community accepted what we have done, thank you to each of you.

Today we have dramatically simplified and organized docs for Flow-Router Extra package - https://github.com/VeliovGroup/flow-router

Please leave your thoughts here, do you like it?
Should we do the same with meteor-files documentation?

General questions are also welcome.

Feedback: Love the flow-router-extra docs
Well organized in small modular components we can digest, an example etc.
Can’t ask for more. Well done @dr.dimitru & team.

My thought about meteor-files is that it is smaller in scope vs a router (a router is a tool that is much more complex to use, almost like a framework, so has a lot more docs and more segmentation); what you have right now looks complete (I admitedly didn’t dive into it, but got the message rather quickly)

My 2c

Appreciated, wish you will find a further use of it.

Understand. Looks like you haven’t seen the wiki, and it was well organized (2 years ago), now it looks a bit messy. Asking community as we started getting questions which can be easily answered with existing docs, so we have two options:

  1. Docs are bad or badly organized.
  2. People don’t read docs

Thank you a lot for the feedback

Loving all the extra effort you’ve put into the docs!

I have only one request. Can you have a one-page version so we can still cmd/crtl + f to quickly jump around?

#5

Good catch. We will do. Use #31 to track its progress

@coagmano thank you for this idea.
Single page docs are here
