Flow router vs iron router.
Which one is best and why ?

Both are outdated. Take a look on one of its forks.
Speaking of approach:

  • Iron-Router - suggests handling everything in a router, subs, templates, rendering, data
  • Flow-Router - only handles routing, offering various hooks, where you can handle subs, templates, rendering, data, etc.

We keep working on the Flow-Router fork here - as flow-router-extra

flow router is newer and recommended for Blaze. There’s no reason to use iron-router on a new project.
