Git tag / github release on meteor publish

I really miss this from mrt

What are people doing for this?

Should I create a meteor-publish wrapper that does this using git & github API on a succesful publish?

If you want to build a wrapper and since you mentioned mrt, you could always consider extracting the relevant git bits from:

github.com

oortcloud/meteorite/blob/master/lib/atmosphere.js#L168-L210
