At this point Big Blue Button.

That’s awesome! Let us know more details when you have them so we can help spread the word.

Sign me up as a sponsor! Looking forward to the event. My company also has a pretty large physical space we would be happy to sponsor an in-person event in the states in the future. If someone wanted to host a regional meteor event, it would be cool to have some pre-made brand guidelines to follow (like maybe some designs for hop-ups, hand outs, landing pages…). Also a place to schedule and RSVP… sounds like the perfect meteor project / hackathon for an “online” meetup - and then we could use it to RSVP future in-person and online events!

What state are you in?

The company is based out of Indiana - that’s where our HQ is and would be able to host a large event there. I am located in Arizona & would love to host a regional event here.

I’ll keep it in mind. Where in AZ? Closest airports in both?

The closest airports would be

https://www.gatewayairport.com/ and https://www.skyharbor.com/

I might consider doing something there or in Indiana (airport?) if I can score a cheap flight and place to stay in either place. Really hungry to start getting locals excited about building with MeteorJS.

For right now I’m looking at September 25th as the conference date to put us between the other conferences happening in September.

In the spirit of developing in the open:

The conference will be 12 hours, so 12 talks + quick opener and closing. Probably more if we have 30 minute talks, but I’m not so sure about fast talks unless it is an announcement/showcase.
Right now there will be 4 keynotes (beginning, end and 2 in through the day). Top tier sponsors will get a pick on one of these spots. Other sponsors will have a guaranteed talk if they want it.
Given such a limited space I will be carefully selecting from submitted talks.

What are people’s thoughts on having a community panel or community talk like we had in previous years?
