I see Meteor 1.4.3 and 1.4.3.1 listed in the releases on github but meteor update is telling me 1.4.2.6 is the latest release. Has 1.4.3.x not been recommended yet or is my meteor tool stuck somehow?
It is not recommended due to a breaking change with the npm version shipped with it. Because of this, 1.4.2.7 will revert the npm version shipped and become the recommended version for now.

Meteor 1.4.3.1 is now officially released and recommended! (With the above problem fixed and NPM v4 included!)
