Is there a way to limit the posts while including a post not in that limit?

Say I have a front page with 20 posts loaded at a time. If I go to a certain post via URL and it isn’t loaded in that 20, it won’t show. Is there a way I can limit to 20 while also forcing that post to show?

Dual subscriptions. Just point them to the same client side collection.
