Link to Document that Blaze is Discontinued in Favor of React?

I see on this forum post:

Blaze discontinued … React is declared the way forward.

I am a Meteor newbie, and I’m fine using React rather than Blaze. I’m looking for confirmation that Meteor has officially discontinued Blaze in favor of React. I’ve done a lot of Googling but haven’t found it yet. Is there a link that documents this?

I don’t think they’re going to come out and say “we’re killing Blaze”, the same way Microsoft didn’t say they were killing Silverlight. I do think the writing is on the wall and they’re going to do what Microsoft did: nothing (and just let it die slowly)
