SocialSharing.java:19: error: package org.apache.http.util does not exist
Now I know that its been removed, but what steps do I need to work around/update this?

Apparently, this is a known issue with the cordova-plugin-x-socialsharing plugin that has been fixed in recent versions. So make sure you’re using the latest version of the plugin from npm (5.0.11 it seems).
