Meteor JS and Node version

Hello everybody
On my mac is installed a nodeJs version 18, with the corresponding npm. Applications use this version of Node, Electron for example.
I would like to install Meteor JS on this Mac. Should I downgrade Node JS to version 14 to install Meteor JS and if so what might happen to other applications.
Thanks for your advices.

Meteor brings its own Node. You just need to remember to use meteor npm instead of just npm

If it briks just use nvm and you can grab v 14 in a second mon frère
