Meteor update --release 3.x fails/stuck of hours at 100% cpu

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to migrate a rather big project to 3.0 but “meteor update --release 3.0.x” is stuck for hours. The node process is using 100% CPU and there are no log additional log outputs.

Any ideas how to debug?

One thing I would try is to disable/remove packages and do it again.
