Mongol, the 100,000 Downloads Edition

Hey everyone, I’m happy to share that Mongol has surpassed 100,000 app installations. It’s nice to see that people are still using it. To celebrate, I rewrote much of the package and the Pro features are now free :blush:

Here are the top three things that might get you excited:

  1. Zero monkey patching - thanks to deep API integrations, everything is more reliable
  2. Lenient JSON parsing so that you don’t have to sweat every comma
  3. No more jQuery

The new Mongol isn’t compatible with Meteor Toys - but a new version is on the way :slight_smile:

Do I understand correctly that it’s not possible to use both Meteor Toys and updated Mongol for now?
