Has anyone here done a comparison of MongoLabs and Compose, as far as performance and reliability? Any recommendations either way?

I am giving MongoLabs a try since they have the free dev tier.
It is a little frustrating that they don’t have all options available to all data centres.
For example my DO server is in Singapore, but they don’t have a shared cluster option for that DC.
It means I would need to move my DO server to US to avoid unnecessary internal lag between the app and the DB.
