With all of the talk of hand-wringing over Flash, I was wondering if there’s an opportunity here for Meteor. I’ve heard from recruiters that there’s a glut of front-end JS recruitment these days to migrate flash interfaces. Is Meteor better poised than other JS frameworks/stacks as an HTML5/JS based replacement solution for Flash/ActionScript interfaces? I’m not versed in ActionScript development, and would love to hear opinions from folks that may have experienced it. But from what I gather, the setup for, say, AS game development might be similar to Meteor’s default setup. Throw a canvas based front end, e.g. famo.us, and there might be a great replacement.
