Push notifications request in Cordova

I have an app built for iOS/Android. I installed and configured the raix:push package. I have correctly setup the config.push.json file.

But when I build my app, it doesn’t ask the user whether or not he wants to receive push notifications. I have the push notifications entitlement and correct provisioning profile setup for iOS.

How do I get the app to ask the user if he wants to receive push notifications?
