I would like to know more about Vulcan, is this the meteor/apollo integration of the future ?
Also I would love to have some feedbacks on the state of the meteor/cordova binding, I mean a year ago I presented Meteor as a way to have Web + iOS + Android app at no cost, but there seem to be not so much momemtum right now around mobile/cordova integration.
Which leads to the third topic, meteor-client-side : clarifications around possible use cases could be awesome.
Again, thanks pauldowman and stubailo for taking time to do this podcast, this has great value for me as a meteor developper.
Especially since in many parts of Europe it is getting more and more mobile first as a result of high smartphone usage, available bandwith and affordable data bundles. It would be good to learn about the views and future directions regarding mobile framworks from a Meteor perspective.
I’m excited to hear what Paul and Sashko have to say about Vulcan (if they cover it), but I think it’s important to mention that Vulcan is very opinionated, and very tailored towards a certain use case (quickly building relatively standard CRUD apps with forms, paginated lists, etc.).
So there are probably lots of uses cases where you’ll want to use Meteor and Apollo together, but where Vulcan might not fit the bill.
EDIT: also, I haven’t moved stuff to the new GitHub org yet, in the meantime you can check out http://vulcanjs.org
