Sharing unused hardware with Meteorites?

I have been trying to find the ‘Goldilocks’ point with a specific wired keyboard I can use and recommend. On the way there I built up a stack of great ones that don’t quite fit for me but would be great for others, especially in a lab where keyboards get beaten to death quickly.

Also I have laptop DDR since our prototypes build on mobile hardware, and I always upgrade before using the original chips if not bare-bones from the first step.

Made me wonder, do people around here all hover at the top of the food chain or is there a community “extra help” or “curious to try that” type sharing custom here?

Obviously shipping something costing more than buying the original item or something better is pretty dumb, but if there are clusters of :ninja: and you can send a whole care package… maybe it could be meaningful?

I remember a lot of time literally burying a keyboard at a significant place where a lot was hacked through, or leaving that “one mouse” to the starry-eyed intern that ended up being the team captain one day…

All that still alive in some new way? Not sure where to expect that to still be normal any more, or wondering if we make it normal to be like that again, if it is not alive and well under old attitudes let sit too long and stew.

Anyway, Meteor seems like it might have the :boom:

Sending stuff around is quiet a hassle. Especially in Europe where the border customs jump on every stupid thing (I even had to go through customs for a magazine). So sending stuff around has not been established, but I do have an offer from @janmp that if I manage to swing by his place in Germany that I could get his old Mac so that I can work on iOS Cordova and other Apple specific things for Meteor.

If you need a Mac for macOS/iOS FOSS development, you can try to apply to have remote SSH and VNC to Mac Mini server:

For WeKan, I have previously applied for that, and I have remote Mac Mini server.
