What: React Summit’s 2026 Hackathon

Why: Promote MeteorJS via React for 10K euro prize pool
React Summit kicks off June 12 (in person) and June 16 (remote). Yeah, it’s weird. I don’t know why it’s set up this way. For React Summit itself, you pay to attend (React Summit – The Biggest React Conference Worldwide).
There’s a bit of confusion regarding who is actually running the Hackathon. There’s React Summit, JS Nation and GitNation credited. I received the email from GitNation; the registration page has all the names but never all together.
But participating in the Hackathon is free. So if that and prizes interest you, here’s the link to learn more and register.
