Volunteer scheduling

I volunteer for a small soup kitchen and they schedule volunteers manually using excel spreadsheet. I’ve been looking at creating a simple application for them. Anyone have suggestions for a Meteor package to start out with? Anything similar out there? Thanks, Ellen

maybe in this case a pre-rolled solution makes more sense than building up a webapp…either way, thank you for helping those who are in need!

Have worked on the similar app, and used http://fullcalendar.io/.
