As Kadira is now the standard tool to monitor performance and errors of Meteor applications, my question is what needs to be considered when using it in a sensitive data context? In other words, how to make sure that none of the “sensitive data” is transferred to Kadira?

You can strip out information in the trace. We’ve some built in options.
But you can write own filters as well.
