What type of apps can be built with Meteor?

Can I build a single-page music distribution app offering on-demand playback using Meteor? Something similar to http://beatport.com or similar to SoundCloud…

If not, what alternatives would you suggest?

Yes! You should definitely be able to build an app like that. Actually, Meteor is a great use case for an app like that in my opinion. There is a pretty big real time aspect to on-demand playback.

I personally haven’t seen any apps like that built in Meteor yet, so you could be the first :wink:
