When is a Meteor release recommended?

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out when a certain release on https://github.com/meteor/meteor/releases is considered recommended.

As of now, the only way to check seems to be to try booting up meteor and check for you upgrade message.

Is there another way?

You can run the meteor show METEOR command, this will give you information about the releases in the main release track, called “METEOR”. It will show you what releases are available and which are marked as recommended.
