When is MeteorJS planning to move to Node version 24.x?

Right now we’re on version 22.22.0 (for MeteorJS 3.4.0) which is already big step up from the last year.

Is Node 24.x already planned in for a specific future version, can the Tiny team comment on it?

I would say that Node 24 support will be released at the latest in version 3.6, but if everything goes as planned, we will add support for it in version 3.5.

We should release a beta of version 3.5 with Node 24 support soon.

Thanks Fred, that’s very promising. I (and I’m probably not alone) really appreciate the way you and your team are pushing MeteorJS forward, at a breathtaking speed.

It was much overdue but this is pumping blood into the old lady, hell ya!
