Why isn't the meteor help info available on docs.meteor.com?

My first port of call is typically docs.meteor.com for api related questions.

I have just spent over an hour trying to figure out if I imagined the meteor create --full flag when there was no mention of it on the docs page.

I eventually found some info using meteor help create . Seems obvious in hindsight. Does this make me a stupid developer or is this a potential down fall for new meteoristas?

I’d say it isn’t. For new meteoristas, the --full project is overly complex. For experienced once, it’s unnecessary as they either use different frontend or have their own boilerplate project already.

But I agree, it should be in the docs.

Please file an issue on the docs!

@aido179 There’s absolutely some work to be done here. I’d happily review a PR for that. There is a Command Line reference section on there, but it hasn’t had an update in a while.

If you missed the “Command Line” section, you may also be interested in helping with this issue.

It looks like @merlinpatt actually beat you to the punch on opening an issue about it:

Still help-wanted though, so please do help if you can!
