Why was handlebars removed?

Hi there,

I just did a meteor update and it removed handlebars. Is that a new thing?

I’m running WINDOWS-PREVIEW@0.3.0.

By the way, I didn’t see any announcement about it. Checked Google too.

The package that implements Meteor’s templating language is called spacebars. I’m not sure why we would have a handlebars package, unless that was something remaining in your app from a really old version of Meteor.

Yeah… right! Two other packages were updated so maybe one of them had it as a dependency. I created this Meteor app about Windows releases ago. I want to say it was 0.1.4 (but could be wrong about that.)
