I could swear my deploys of one of my Meteor apps used to be around 10 minutes. I track deploy time like this:
time meteor deploy myApp.meteorapp.com --settings settings.json
Now all of a sudden it’s about 6 minutes. I’m guessing this is because Galaxy migrated apps, including mine, from AWS to bare metal.
Is anyone else noticing a speedup in deploy time?

Hey @vikr00001, yes, that’s exactly what’s happening.
We migrated to Galaxy Metal, bare metal servers with Kubernetes orchestration, no virtualization overhead. But the speedup isn’t just the hardware. We rebuilt everything: the entire deployment pipeline, p2d, the CLI integration, all of it. The 40% is a result of the whole stack being rethought, not just swapping servers.

Glad you’re feeling it. More improvements are coming through 2026.
