We recently announced several exciting updates at the first Galaxy Expansion event: Meteor 3.4, Galaxy Metal, first-class support for AdonisJS, and The Galaxy Crew.
The Galaxy Crew is our new umbrella brand for content and community initiatives at Galaxy. It launches with three components: a forum, a podcast (with the first episode coming soon), and The Galaxy Crew Writers, an evolution of the Galaxy Community Writers program.
After testing the initial program successfully, we realized we wanted to bring writers closer to our mission and establish clearer guidelines for article topics. That’s why we’re now opening applications for our Pioneer Cohort. You can learn how the program works and apply through this form.
This first cohort will focus primarily on Meteor-related content, and we’re particularly interested in in-depth tutorials covering performance optimization, scaling strategies, and deployment best practices.
Please note that The Galaxy Crew is a work in progress. We have many more initiatives planned, including Meteor community-specific programs, sponsorship opportunities, and champion programs.
