Hey everyone!
MongoDB 3.4 is around the corner now coming in with a long awaited and recently implemented collation support built in.
Those of you who deal with non-English or multi-lingual content should definitely recognize this pain and if you’ve, like me, worked for clients who cannot tolerate Ö
coming after Z
(why should they tolerate it anyway!) you probably had to resort to some nasty hacks or complex workarounds.
No that MongoDB has it, I think it is only fair and natural Meteor has it both on the server and on the client!
I’ve also created a feature request for it, outlining the possible work that needs to be done, so it would be awesome if you could show your support with your thumbs-up’s!
